#JapanesefriendshipGarden
I'm a 30 something textile artists, wife, stay at home mom to a happy little girl and a modern-day homemaker trying to stay true to my Southern California roots as I navigate living in Southern Louisiana. This blog will cover a bit of sewing, cooking, green living and everything in between. I'll be showing you how to do the things I love and enjoy, as well as trying some new things a long the way.

Japanese friendship Garden
One of the great things in Phoenix to do is to go to the Japanese friendship Garden it's in downtown Phoenix it really makes you forget that you're in the city. There is just something so peaceful, tranquil, and serene. About being in this place you can feed the fish listen to Taiko drums or just be at peace with listening to the waterfall and the natural nature surroundings. The garden is open May through October they are closed during the hot time here. Not having the beautiful Fairmount Park Ave., Riverside, CA to go and rejuvenate myself at. This is by far the closest I've come to something of that nature herein the desert. I love to take whatever I'm crocheting or hand sewing up and spend the afternoon morning what ever in the garden as I work I find it gives a better energy to my work.
