So here is the new holiday dress
I'm a 30 something textile artists, wife, stay at home mom to a happy little girl and a modern-day homemaker trying to stay true to my Southern California roots as I navigate living in Southern Louisiana. This blog will cover a bit of sewing, cooking, green living and everything in between. I'll be showing you how to do the things I love and enjoy, as well as trying some new things a long the way.

Enjoying holiday clothing
I truly do enjoy making and wearing fun and out there outfits for every holiday. But with my weight having gone down then now back up I didn't have any that fit so I have had to start making all new ones not that I really mine much. I get so tired of wearing things like everyone else so even for my work clothes that have to be black or black and white I make things in stlyes that are more me, dresses that are in the late 1940's thur the mid 1950's are what I like. And not the take on the new look that's out now that the skirts are above the knee but the real vintage looks becuase that's what I feel most comfortable in and so I see no reason to wear what other think I should I enjoy just being me!
