Late night sewing

So the great and not so great thing about, being able to sew and design is that as soon as people hear that they always have something that they would like you to do. Now yes that's great but only when they are willing to pay you what is right and fare for the work you are giving them. That being said off my soap box and back to what I just finished for a co worker of mine a wedding  garter for a friend using vintage lace from her grandmothers wedding veil. Now this is a very easy thing to do  DIY on it coming soon, so why am I just now at almost 1 am getting it done. Well becuse I was busy working on some great draping things as well as casting the mold for my custom fit dress form. The DIY on that is also coming soon.  Till then here is that lovely garter

Easter in the garden

So I was lucky and the retail job I work was closed today because of Easter. Now I happen to think this is great I do believe that things should be closed. So what did I do with this great day well I will be doing some pattern work and sewing for a few new drapes I have been working on, but with it being a sunny day that isn't to hot. I spent most of my day working in my mothers garden and helping her have it all set up for her, and an out down teaching space and reiki space. It's going to be a lot more work still but I have to say it's coming a long just right, with an easy moving thur it feeling. This is the way it looks after today, it's still a work in progress, but I'm loving it.
